After the jetlag" is Daniel Sahuleka's newest CD that premiered in October of 1998, produced by Sunflight. This CD came out after Daniel Sahuleka's long career as a songwriter/composer. In 1977 Daniel started composing his first records. "You make my world so colourfull" was his debut-single followed by his LP "Sahuleka 1" and "Sahuleka 2". With well provided popmusic Daniel established his name with a huge public in Europe and Indonesia, in which he still obtains huge successes. The LP "Sunbeam" appeared in 1981 in: Holland, Germany, Italy, Spain, France and Japan. The single "Wake up" became an enormous success and Daniel was awarded with an Edison. After momentous successes in the early eighties Daniel withdrew from the music scene for an indefinite amount of time. Without the pressure from record-companies his CD "The loner" appeared in 1990, followed by "I adore you" in 1993. This CD became a huge hit in Asia. Daniel proceeded with an invitation to Indonesia and achieved a great amount of publicity from newspapers and the broadcasting corporation. He gave some beautiful concerts in Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta end Semarang. In 1995 he returned to Indonesia. Daniel was awarded in Yogyakarta on the campus of the Medical Faculty. The public loved him and cheered:'You have not only sung for us, you gave us a lecture', The duration of his stay in his birth country and further travelling has left it's tracks. The music brought him into all sorts of social circles and situations. "After the jetlag" was a reflection of these experiences |
